The Townhouse Chester

Unfortunately our rooms are not wheelchair accessible.

 

PRE ARRIVAL

The hotel is located in Lower Bridge Street, Chester.

The nearest rail station is Chester having wheelchair access from all routes

There is coach drop off point for National Express approx. 10 minutes walking distance from hotel

Dogs are allowed in the rooms.

 

ARRIVAL & CAR PARKING FACILITIES

There is a point outside the front of the hotel where you can park for 10 minutes to drop off bags, slight gradient, raised curb and on double yellow lines. 

If you are in the car we suggest parking at The Grosvenor Shopping Centre Car Park (6 min walk to hotel | £15 for 25 hours) or The Little Roodee Car Park (6 min walk up hill to hotel |£9 for over 12 hours)

 

MAIN ENTRANCE & RECEPTION

The main entrance is on Lower Bridge Street, slight sloped but paved walkway

The entrance has one entrances: Offering 6 steps and push door

Reception is located on the ground floor

The registration card can be enlarged if required

The breakfast room and bar are located on the ground floor adjacent reception

The flooring throughout the reception area is short pile carpet

There is a number of low level seating and also upright chairs throughout the lounge and bar

There as no accessible bedrooms located on the ground floor

Please ask reception or concierge for assistance if required

The main entrance has a stone floor prior to entering reception

Baby changing is located on the ground floor in the ladies’ washroom

For assistance with phone calls, please ask at reception

The gentleman’s toilet is located on the ground floor

The ladies’ toilet is located on the ground floor

The flooring in all toilets is non-slip vinyl

 

PUBLIC AREAS & BAR

The restaurant and bar floor surface is short pile carpet

Restaurant tables and chairs can be moved

Lighting levels in the reception, bar and restaurant is generally lower in the evenings

The Breakfast room and bar is located on the ground floor

SHOP

There is no shop within the hotel

Essential toiletries are available via reception

A small supermarket/shop is located on Bridge Street

We don’t have any leisure facilities on site

 

OUTDOOR FACILITIES

We have a terrace garden at the back of the building with a retractable roof.

Meeting rooms are located on the ground floor

We have a set evacuation procedure. The alarm signal is a continuous siren. In the event of a fire alarm please make your way out of your room and a member of the team will come to assist you.
