Frequently asked questions
Where do I park?
If you are in the car we suggest parking at The Grosvenor Shopping Centre Car Park (6 min walk to hotel | £15 for 25 hours) or The Little Roodee Car Park (6 min walk to hotel |£9 for over 12 hours)
You are more than welcome to park outside the front of the hotel for 10 minutes to drop off bags, and then move your car if you have too much luggage. This is however on double yellow lines so proceed at your own risk.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes, we are dog friendly and we would love to see your four legged friend. We charge £15 per night for a dog
Is there a lift?
No, unfortunately we don't have a lift. As we are an old, charming building we only have stairs and quite a few of them too.
What time is breakfast?
Monday-Friday 8am-10:30am
Saturday-Sunday 8am-11am
What time is Check in and Check out?
Check-in: From 3:00pm. Want to arrive earlier? Call us and we’ll see what we can do (subject to availability).
Check-out: By 11:00am.
Late check-out: After 11:00am, it’s £10 per hour (subject to availability).
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately due to our unique charming building we are not wheelchair accessible. Due to our stairs and lack of disabled toilet we are not.
Do you offer Vegan and Vegetarian Breakfasts?
Yes, at The Townhouse we want everyone to enjoy a good breakfast. We provide a plant based full english and our continental also has lots of vegan and vegetarian options.
Can I book in for breakfast if I am not staying at the hotel?
Of course, everyone is welcome. We accept walk-ins but if you would like to book please call 01244567300.
What time does the bar close?
For Hotel Guests the bar is 24hours, yet we close for non-residents at 12am.
What time does reception close?
Our Reception is manned 24hours.
Do you have a bath in your bedrooms?
We have no baths, every room has a recently refurbished shower.
